Friday Nights: Yours Truly & Club Astra
Fridays start early on The Rooftop, with $7 tacos, drink specials and free pool from 7pm, a proper reason to arrive before the DJs even plug in.
From 9pm, Yours Truly and Club Astra take over across all three levels, Lounge and Club filling in as the Rooftop crowd starts heading down. Smart casual applies across the building, and walk-ins are welcome, though booking ahead is the safer bet once the Rooftop fills up around dusk. Booths on any level come with bottle service for birthdays or bigger groups.

Saturday Nights: Emerson Saturdays
Saturdays run on Emerson Saturdays, the biggest weekly night on the calendar, spread across all three floors from midday brunch through to last drinks. It’s the one night where the whole building is doing something different at once, a rooftop lunch crowd still finishing dessert while The Club fills up below from 9pm, cover charge and ID at the ready.
Ask around for Saturday night Melbourne plans and this is usually already on somebody’s list before the week’s even over, whether they’re starting on the Rooftop at midday or walking straight into the Club after dark.

Thursdays run on two levels at once. Trivia takes over the Rooftop from 7pm, teams settling in over dinner and testing out how much useless knowledge actually pays off.
Downstairs, Messy Thursday claims the Club from 9pm, the unofficial student night, when a proper night out on a school night suddenly makes sense. No cover for either, just the usual smart casual once you’re through the door.

Beyond the weekly anchors, the calendar keeps moving, guest DJs, themed day parties and one-off events get added throughout the year. Past line-ups have included everything from RnB Fest to themed disco days built around a single decade or genre, and Sunday afternoons occasionally turn into a bottomless brunch when the mood calls for it.

Footy season turns the Rooftop into an unlikely sports bar too, every AFL game streamed live across the screens, free pool while you wait for kick-off, plus drink specials and cheap eats for the length of the match. Games run every day of the week through the season, not just on weekends, so it’s worth checking closer to game day for the current schedule instead of locking in a specific match this far out. Between the football and the skyline behind the screens, it’s not a bad way to spend an afternoon that was never going to be about the view alone.
